This time, I came to Haidian District, Beijing to connect with the Zhongguancun project. For the first three days of my trip, I directly settled on Yulong International Hotel Beijing. As a professional who travels back and forth between Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei all year round, this stay completely hit all the core pain points of business trips in the west of Beijing and became my first choice for future business trips to Haidian.
The hotel's location is a precise fit for business people on the West Third Ring Road. I took Line 9 from Beijing West Station and transferred to the subway to Zizhuqiao Station. I walked 800 meters to the hotel and didn't have to take any detours in the narrow alleys of the old city with my suitcase. The surrounding area is the core office building cluster of Zhongguancun. When you go to major technology enterprises and research institutes to discuss matters, taking a taxi is basically the starting price. Even if you go out during the morning rush hour, taking the auxiliary road of the West Third Ring Road can avoid the most congested section, without having to rush for one or two hours in advance. There are chain coffee shops and 24-hour convenience stores downstairs along the street. If you rush out in the morning, you can easily buy hot coffee and breakfast without having to take a long detour. It takes only a few minutes to walk to Century Jinyuan Shopping Center, and after meeting customers, you can easily arrange business banquets of different specifications along the way, without wasting time running across venues.
The process of checking in was efficient and worry free. The front desk had reserved a quiet room type on a higher floor for me in advance, and also proactively informed me of the usage period of the hotel's multifunctional conference hall. Coincidentally, I had a project docking meeting for 12 people the next day, so I could handle it directly in the hotel's conference hall without having to look for any nearby business venues. The decoration of the room is simple and tidy, without redundant fancy designs. The layout of the spacious desk by the window is particularly reasonable, with internet cables and multiple specifications of charging ports readily available. It was connected for a two-hour cross-border online conference, and the WiFi was stable throughout without any lag or disconnection delay. The mattress has good support, and after staying up for two consecutive nights to change the project plan, I was able to relax quickly while lying down. The sound insulation in the room is particularly well done, and the traffic noise on the West Third Ring Road is almost completely isolated. Even if I am busy until late at night before returning to my room, I can still sleep soundly.
What surprised me the most was the details of the hotel's business amenities. The self-service laundry room is open 24 hours a day. A few formal clothes I brought on a business trip can be washed and dried in half an hour to be as smooth as new, without the need to wash them by hand or send them to a dry cleaning shop outside, saving a lot of time. The hotel has its own gym, and after having a review meeting with the team at night, you can also go for a 20 minute run to relieve the fatigue of sitting for a whole day. If you catch an early flight and book a hotel shuttle service in advance, the driver will be waiting at the door on time, without having to rush to the roadside for ride hailing services. I need to print and bind dozens of project proposals temporarily, and the business center at the front desk can help me organize them in just a few minutes. Even the packaging and binding are done very neatly, so there is no need to go outside to find a printing shop.
Breakfast is available in plenty of time. Even if I have to catch the morning meeting at 8 o'clock, I can calmly eat a bowl of freshly cooked old Beijing Zhajiangmian with freshly ground coffee. I can keep up with my energy all morning. After staying for three days, I completely added this store to my Beijing business trip list. Yulong International Hotel Beijing does not have luxurious configurations, but it has put all the efficiency, comfort, and convenience needed for business travel in the west of Beijing into practice, without being distracted by trivial matters, and can focus all energy on work. Next time I come to Haidian to connect with the project, I will definitely choose this place directly.Show more
